“We recently held our region sales meeting at The Oakwood Inn Okoboji. The inn is very nice and the staff was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and very cozy feeling. We were able to use the common spaces to hold our meeting in. The group breakfast we requested was nicely done with unique items that fit the vibe. The grounds of the inn are tightly manicured making all the outdoors space you could use a real bonus. We had a really enjoyable stay and would highly recommend The Oakwood Inn Okoboji for business or pleasure. Go enjoy!!”
“Thank you, Bill & Bridget for an amazing stay at your wonderful Oakwood Inn! We enjoyed a very relaxing stay at your romantic Bed & Breakfast. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious and meticulously prepared. It’s easy to see that you love what you do because it comes shining through by your wonderful food and the beautiful landscaping around your home. Thank you for delivering for us a weekend that we won’t soon forget and will treasure for quite some time! Sincerely, Keith A Marti”
“Our experience staying here was just perfect. The property itself is beautiful inside and out. Bridget and Bill were amazing hosts, so accommodating and the breakfast service is wonderful. We really enjoyed the “extras”, such as enjoying the outdoor fireplace / patio before turning in for the night, walking the nature trail adjacent to the Inn, playing pool in the garden level den (where complimentary snacks and drinks are available!), the nicely curated lists of recommended things to do and places to eat and shop, the fireplace in the room, the super comfortable bedding, the bathrobes… I could go on and on. Felt like we were at 5 star resort for a fraction of the price. We will definitely be back!”
“Bill and Bridget we would definitely rate you a 10. You both were excellent hosts. The accommodations were fantastic and your yard and gazebos were beautiful and we enjoyed sitting in them. Breakfasts were great and delicious(what a chef you are). Loved the place and hope to come back. Gary & Mary”
“Great facility and extremely clean and well kept. Beautiful grounds. Most accommodating hosts who serve wonderful breakfasts. Easy access to all areas of Okoboji. There is a bit of traffic noise but it doesn't affect enjoyment of property. Highly recommended!”
“An extremely comfortable inn with a great breakfast. My spouse and I drove up to Lake Okoboji for a winter getaway, and we were both delighted with our first stay at the Oakwood Inn. It's like a modern version of an old-time inn with cozy rooms featuring gas fireplaces. The common areas are inviting, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. The innkeepers are welcoming and helpful. We intend to return and experience other seasons of the year at Iowa's "Great Lakes."”
